Moving revisited

The ongoing issue. It's what consumes me these days even though I have found the time for probably too many parties. With each dinner attended, I tell myself I should have begged off this year. I have so much to do. But I'm a sucker for a party.

So I am still packing and now, down to the wire. The official move is scheduled for this coming Saturday. I have no way to take time from work. I have just started and I have so much to do. So every evening will be spent packing until Thursday.
Thursday the movers come and do the rest.

Stupid me I agreed to go out to dinner with friends tonight. However I did really want to see them and we are all so busy in the next few weeks this is the only time.

We've made a lot of purchases in the last few days, not the least of which is a huge flat screen tv for the bedroom, a new washer and dryer and then yesterday we went to rent a storage facility.

I was lucky enough to be able to sell a lot of the furniture I won't be bringing into our house but still there are some pieces we are hoping to fit in someday, and some that just didn't sell.

I do wish all a very Merry Christmas (if that is what you celebrate) and health and happiness into the New Year and beyond.
