Instead of 1st Down it is Thumbs Down

Unfortunately today it did not go well for the Rutgers football team. Since they defeated the favored team last week and played so well, it seemed like a shoe in this week.

Not to be.

West Virginia played extremely well and Rutgers made a lot of mistakes. Of course the wet weather didn't help but it didn't seem to hinder WV either so it would be unfair to blame the rain.

Better next time Rutgers!!! I still love ya.

Go Rutgers (again)

Another great win by a great team.

I wasn't always a football fan. In fact if I were to examine my affinity closely, I'd have to say that watching a bunch of men in tights, running after a ball as they fling themselves into one another, is not exactly enticing.

But when in Rome.....

See I've even become cliche-ish.

It is his passion. I often chose to be with him at a football game than without him doing something of my choosing. And that was how it began...

But somewhere in there, I did become something of a fan. I wanted to know why and began to learn. I wanted to understand the plays and started to. And then it became a bit of my own fascination. So tonight, while he is visiting his son at college, and I can do whatever I please....

What do I do?

It is not without compromise. He indulges me in couples massages and pedicures and flea markets......it isn't all snails and puppy dog tails.

Rain, Rain go away.

At the airport. It's too early. Up at 4:00 am. Sitting in the President's Club thinking about having a bagel. Flying to Rochester with him. Not exactly the vacation capital of the world.

Just saw his son and son's girlfriend off to Florida. I should have gone with them. (Kidding of course).

It will be fun. Going to his office and then to visit friends. The Rutger's game..go Rutgers!!!! and then a winery on Sunday.

Make the rain stop!
