Tripping
I took him and his partner to the airport today, for a business trip to Columbus, Ohio. Not that exciting.
I always have mixed feelings when he's gone. I like my time alone, and doing the things I do at MY house, but I do miss him. I've gotten to dislike sleeping alone anyway. There's some weird sense of disconnection...I can't quite explain.
He'll be back on Thursday, no big deal, but November will be a bit of a difficult month. He is traveling most of the month. To appease me however, he will fly me out to Dallas for 5 days while he is there on business. His daughter lives there so it's a good excuse to visit with her for a few days. That will be fun.
I don't really get to pick the trips, but I do know about some that will be coming up in 2008 and I'm secretly putting in my bid to go with him. Oh heck, how secret is begging, really?!Labels: airport, Dallas, trips
